Attendance and behaviour:
The attendance award went to class 5 for excellent attendance of 99.7%. Reception class 2 received the behaviour award for excellent behaviour during the cycling course.

First Holy Communion:
A big vote of thanks to all who enabled the First Holy Communion Mass last Sunday to be such a special and holy occasion. Thank you to Father Chris, to the parents and children and all staff who helped. 

There will be a ‘thanks giving’ Mass for a dual purpose on Wednesday 13 July at 9.30am. The Mass will be to give thanks for the successes that our current Year 6 children have achieved over the years (i.e. Leavers’ Mass) and also for the First Communion children to celebrate their ‘faith journey step’ with the school community. They can wear their special Communion dresses and suits to school on this day. Parents please stay for the Mass and then help the children to change into more practical non-uniform for the rest of the day.

New intake into reception classes:
There are two opportunities for the parents and carers of children who will be starting in our Reception class in September, to come and visit school for a ‘new intake’ meeting. Mr Morgan and Mrs Hixon will welcome parents in the morning at 8.45am and again at 12.00.

Nursery places still available:
Parents welcome to collect and complete a nursery application form as we still have Nursery places available for our September 2011 intake. Please contact the School office for further details.

School closes for the summer holidays at 3.00pm on Wednesday 13 July.

School re-opens on Monday 5 September at 8.00am with breakfast club.
