Next week the Year 1 and 2 children will be going to Blackpool Zoo on Monday. This trip has been rearranged due to the teachers action day on Thursday. The arrangements remain exactly the same, just the day has changed. On Tuesday the Year 5 children are going to Whitworth High School for a Taster Day. WHS are arranging all the transport etc. The following day Wednesday the Year 5s are out again on a Taster Day at Wardle. Again, all transport etc has been organised by the high school. Year 4 are spending Wednesday in Healey Dell and the children will need to be properly equipped for the day in suitable clothing and footwear depending on the weather.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday, they enjoyed a photo opportunity with Casey the Guide Dog puppy who applauded their achievement with a loud bark.

The School Reports will be issued on Friday 1st July and will contain the full year attendance information, individual music tuition reports etc. If you do not receive a report please contact school.

The end of term leavers barbecue tickets are selling fast – the evening is on 8 July, 6.30pm until 9.00pm Tickets are £3.00 per adult and £2.00 per child. Year 6 children are free of charge, children cannot be unaccompanied unless they are Year 6.

Sports day has been set for Monday 4 July weather permitting.
