Attendance:
The winner of the attendance certificate for week ending 10 June 2011 was Emerald Class, with an attendance of 99%. Well done to Emerald Class. The overall attendance for the school was 96.5%.
School kitchen award:
Following our Kitchen inspection by Environmental Health last week we were informed that Rochdale MBC is participating in the Foods Standards Agency Food Hygiene Rating Scheme. I am delighted to inform you that our School Kitchen has achieved a 5* Rating which is the highest possible. This rating means:
“Very high standards of food safety management. Fully compliant with food safety law. Very good track record.”
Library books:
Please can all library books be returned by Friday, 8th July 2011. Remember to look in all those places where books like to hide e.g. under the bed or in the cupboard.
Lego figures:
School Council are trying to collect lego figures for wet playtimes. If you have any lego figures please send them into school. Thank you from Shawclough School Council.
Choir performance 28 June:
Shawclough School Choir are singing for the whole school in our School Hall on Tuesday, 28th June at 2.30 p.m. Parents are invited.
