This Sunday (12 June) there will be a Communion Service at 10.45am led by Rev. Andrew Howell to which everyone is invited.
Mother and Baby/Toddler roup continues on a Monday and Wednesday from 9.30am - Noon. Come along for a chat with other Mums and let the little ones enjoy the activities and toys.
This Tuesday 14 June between 12.30pm and 2.00pm will be our regular "Soup and a Roll.” Home made soup and rolls together with biscuits and tea or coffee. All donations to the Church Funds.
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday and WVC together with the other churches in the Littleborough area will be taking part in the annual Littleborough Churches Together Walk of Witness from St. Andrews' Church Dearnley to Hare Hill Park. The afternoon begins with St Andrews' opening at 12.30pm for those who wish to bring a picnic before the walk to gain sustenance before the walk begins at 1.30pm. As in previous years the procession will be led by Wardle High School Brass Band and will arrive at the Park for a 2.00pm Service. Our speaker this year is the Rev. Anthea Wickens from the United Reformed Church in Littleborough. Following the Service there will be Children's Activities led for us by the Branches fellowship in which we are promised fun, songs, activities and prizes. Refreshments are available courtesy of the Friends of Hare Hill Park, and, if last year is anything to go by the afternoon promises to be filled with fun as we celebrate Pentecost.
