Rochdale man hospitalised following collision

A man from Rochdale is in a poorly but stable condition in hospital following a road traffic collision near Keighley.

The incident happened at around 12.10pm on the A629 on Saturday (4 June).

The man came off his white and blue GSXR 750cc bike and came to rest in the central reservation.

He had been heading towards Keighley after moving away from the roundabout at the junction with the A6034 Keighley Road.

Airedale and North Bradford Roads Policing officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the collision which took place on the A629 Silsden / Steeton Bypass. Anyone who saw the collision or the biker just before the incident or has information should contact the Western Area Roads Policing Unit on 0845 60 60 606.
