Crews called to extinguish fire on farmer’s trailer

Fire-fighters were called to extinguish a fire on a farmer’s trailer on a Heywood street this afternoon (31 May).

The fire service was called to an area outside Barclays Bank on Church Street at 12.17pm.

The fire involved a large amount of hay and manure.

Shovels, one hose reel and a thermal image camera were used.
