Date published: 17 May 2011

Three members of staff from the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre took part in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday (15 May) to raise money for charity.

The group donned their running trainers and bright green vests to raise money for the shopping centre’s chosen charity for the year, The Christie.

Those who took part were, assistant guest services manager, Chris Doidge, maintenance engineer, Darren Leith and guest services officer Mark Wallwork. They completed the run in one hour and raised around £700 between them.

The Exchange will be continuing their fundraising for The Christie at their charity ball in the summer.
