Parents, children and staff at Boarshaw Sure Start Children’s Centre in Middleton are celebrating their Ofsted report after inspectors graded the centre as ‘Good’.
Inspectors visited the centre in March and were very impressed with the commitment of the staff; reporting that the team provide activities that are fun and capture children’s imagination, which fosters their leaning and promotes their development.
The inspectors noted: “Children thrive in this inclusive and stimulating setting because staff have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
“Positive partnerships with parents, carer and professionals contributes significantly to children’s care, well-being, learning and inclusion.
“Equality and diversity are fostered well through a good range of resources, displays and activities that expand children’s understanding of the world around them.”
Louise Burke, Centre Manager said: “We are all absolutely delighted with the inspector’s comments and I am extremely proud of all the staff, partners and parents.
“Their dedication and commitment to Boarshaw Children’s Centre has been reflected in the very positive Ofsted report.
“We want to share the excellent news and celebrate with all the families to thank them for making our centre the place it is.”
