Rochdale woman dies in crash

A Rochdale woman has died following a car crash in the south of Scotland.
Pushpasany Sundramoorthy, 72, was taken to Dumfries Infirmary for treatment following a crash on the A74 (M) but died as a result of her injuries.
Her car hit the central reservation on the northbound carriageway near Lockerbie at about 05.35pm on Friday (13 May).
A 24-year-old woman travelling in the car suffered minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
