Rochdale MP lodges complaint over Huhne speeding allegations

Rochdale’s MP, Simon Danczuk, has lodged a formal complaint with the police over claims Energy and Climate Change Secretary Chris Huhne MP asked someone to take points for a speeding offence.
Mr Huhne has denied the allegations, which appeared in national newspapers over the weekend.
The BBC reported that Essex police will consider this week whether or not launch an inquiry.
The alleged offence dates back to 2003 when Mr Huhne was an MEP.
Rochdale Online has invited Mr Danczuk to respond.
