Market Place in Heywood remains closed
Date published: 13 May 2011
Market Place in Heywood is closed in both directions between Hind Hill Street and Taylor Street following a building fire.
The road closure was put in place following a fire at a Heywood town centre bar on Wednesday (11 May) night just after 9.30pm.
The cause of the fire, involving Miami Ice, is currently under investigation.
The incident left debris scattered over a large area of Market Place and the structure of the building was also affected.
Market Place is likely to remain closed for some time.
