Congratulations to the year 7 boys, who last Thursday completed the treble by adding the Rochdale Cup to their league and 5-a-side success with a 7-5 win over Siddal Moor.
The players involved were: George Highton (Solid and commanding performance as goalkeeper) Dale Patterson (Ran his socks off and wasn't afraid to get stuck in) Brad Ellor (Solid perfomrmance in defence, didn't let anyone past him) Tom Rawson (Worked hard for the team despite throwing twice during the day!) Harry Cottrill (Tough in the tackle and set up three goals) Kaine Farrah (Ran his socks off) James Hebb (Created several chances for the team and scored a fantastic curling shot) Lewis O'Brien (Worked hard in the midfiled and scored 4 goals including a wondergoal from 30 yards) Harry Royds (Worked tirelessly for the team and scored two crucial goals) Josh Gordon (Captain - solid in defence and led the team to victory) Daniel Crompton (Solid in defence making numerous clearances when the team was under pressure)

The whole squad should be immensely proud of their achievements this season and have actually created history by becoming the first year 7 team at Hollingworth to win the league in the competitions history. As well as showing a wonderful team spirit throughout the season they have been successful all whilst showing a huge amount of respect to their opposing teams by playing the game fairly.
