A fire in the stables area of a Heywood farm is thought to have been started by discarded smoking materials.
At 6.03pm on Saturday (7 May) fire-fighters from Heywood Fire Station were called Green End Lane Farm, Heywood.
The crews used short extension ladders, roof ladders, water jets and breathing apparatus to deal with a fire which affected 70 square metres of timber roofing on a stable block and some of the contents of an adjacent barn.
