Fire at Taylor Engineering & Plastics causing plume of acrid dense smoke over Rochdale
A fire at Moss Bridge Industrial Estate, causing a large plume of acrid dense smoke over Rochdale, is being tackled by the fire service this morning (Thursday 28 April).
Appliances from Rochdale, Heywood and Littleborough are fighting the fire at Taylor Engineering & Plastics. The premises are well abalze and the fire service is using three jets.
Motorists are advised to avoid the Crawford Street/Moss Bridge area.
