Town Hall clock stopped due to mechanical fault

The Rochdale Town Hall clock has stopped due to a mechanical fault with the pendulum.
The time on the clock has been displayed as 9.45 over the weekend.
Rochdale Online understands that a new part is needed to repair the fault and it will be fixed sometime today (Monday 11 April 2011).
