Swimmers raise over £1,000 for club

Date published: 09 April 2011

Members of the Rochdale Swimming Club have raised over £1,000 to keep them afloat.

Over 40 volunteers spent Saturday 2 April bag packing at Morrisons in Rochdale and raised a grant total of £1,034.56.

The money will be used to buy new kick boards and floats for the club.

Mark Lord from the swimming club described the news as “flipping fantastic.”
