The caravans on Sir Isaac Newton Way
A group of travellers have set up on a piece of land on Sir Isaac Newton Way.
Residents in the area said that the convoy of around ten caravans arrived on the site last weekend.
Concerns about the mess the travellers may leave behind have been raised but residents say they aren’t causing any problems and are keeping themselves to themselves.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Council was unavailable for comment at the time of publication
