Killer's girlfriend admits assisting an offender

The girlfriend of a man jailed for life for the murder of Paul Brady, 44, from Rochdale, has pleaded guilty to assisting him.
Mr Brady, was lured to a housing site in Weir, in August 2009 and bundled into a van. His remains have never been found.
Paul Devalda, 35, of Burnley, was found guilty at Liverpool Crown Court of kidnap and murder.

Stacia Crossley, 28, Devalda’s girlfriend, pleaded guilty at Manchester Crown Court to assisting an offender earlier this week. She previously faced trial alongside Devalda but the jury failed to reach a verdict.
Lancashire Police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) applied for a retrial and she admitted the new charge on Tuesday.
Crossley will be sentenced along with another man convicted of helping Devalda, Heath Bowling, on a date to be fixed.
