Hi-5:
This was well attended and hopefully will continue throughout the year.

The Big Cookathon 5 April:
This is a national event and St. Edward’s is the only school in Rochdale taking part. The idea is to get as many people cooking throughout the day. All children and staff will be cooking and we would like it if any parents could come in and help, ideally having at least one parent in each class. We will be making Leek and Potato Soup in the hall with all the children and making various breads in the classrooms.

Other related activities will take place during the day.

After school the soup and breads will be available for parents and children to taste, at various points around school – there will be no charge for this.

On Wednesday 6 April, some of our Year 4 children are in a water polo competition at Castleton Baths. Children who are on the team will be told this week. Good Luck.
