Pupils from Beech House School were treated to a concert from the bands ‘The Cameleonz’ and ‘The Scarletz’ earlier this week.

The concert was just over half an hour long and each band played a set of three songs.

The Cameleonz kicked off with two of their own songs. Band members Marcus and Lis were very enthusiastic about their music. They finished the set with the song ‘Airplanes’ by B.O.B. In this song, Marcus went around the audience asking people to join in and sing or rap into the microphone.

The Scarletz are a group of four girls that met in London.

One was originally from Manchester, one from Leeds, one from Hertfordshire and one from Huddersfield.

They sang ‘Night Bus’, their single ‘Messed Up’ and ‘Kebab Shop’.

At the end of the concert, the bands took part in a question and answer session. The bands were happy to answer questions and were encouraging to any pupils who wanted to go into the music business.

The Scarletz held a competition for a poster. The winner was Grace, one of the Upper Prep pupils.

Both bands waited in the hall afterwards to speak to many pupils and sign autographs.

All pupils enjoyed the experience.
