Amazing daffodil donations

Marie Curie Cancer Care
An amazing £1,377 was collected for Marie Curie Cancer Care at Morrison’s Kingsway over two days last weekend.
Vivien Thompson, Chairwoman of Rochdale Support Group said: “This is a fantastic amount of money to collect in such a short time especially when economic times are so hard for so many people.
“Our thanks go to the extremely generous shoppers at Morrison’s and to the staff who supported the event. This collection has really boosted our annual daffodil campaign and it was lovely to see so many people wearing daffodil badges everywhere you looked.”
The money collected will go to provide Marie Curie nursing care for terminally ill patients in their homes and support for their family and friends.
