House fire in Newbold

Three fire crews from Rochdale and Littleborough tackled a fire at a house in Newbold yesterday afternoon (Monday 21 March 2011).
Fire-fighters were called to a large detached property on Newbold Street at 04.20pm. On arrival they were faced with a fire in a first floor bedroom.
Two hose reels and four breathing apparatus were used.
