Fire-fighters tackle blaze at Smallbridge flat

Fire-fighters were called to a fire at a flat on Bower Avenue, Smallbridge at 6.35am this morning (Monday 21 March 2011).
On arrival, the crews from Rochdale fire station were faced with a fire involving an ash tray in a first floor flat.
Two hose reels and four breathing apparatus were used.
