Falinge Park High School

We welcome Oldham College into school this week as they perform their 'War' Drama performances to pupils in Years 7 and 8. The college students will be working with our pupils using Drama and Entertainment Technology. The day long workshop will lead a short showcase presentation.

Congratulations to Sadia Bano, Conor Larkin, Annapurnima VimalKumar and Hasan Nadeem who are all winners of our 'Romeo and Juliet' Theatre Competition. Each pupil successfully created a poster to promote a performance of the famous play. Each winner received a certificate and a prize this week.
Well done to all the pupils who participated in the competition. There was some impressive work
produced.

Year 9 students are reminded that they should now have submitted their options choices to the Community Tutor. Please ensure this happens as soon as possible.

We have been lucky enough to secure and host, free workshops, which will be delivered by CAT staff from The Lowry at Falinge Park High School on Thursday 17 March to Falinge Park High School. A small number of Gifted and Talented pupils from FPHS in Years 7-10 will be taking part in these workshops from 1.00pm-4.00pm.

A second workshop will be delivered from 5.00pm-8.00pm in the Dance Studio at Falinge Park High School for pupils within the authority, and Year 11 pupils to get involved with. This is open to all Gifted and Talented Dancers aged 11-16. Ask your dance teacher at school for further information or contact Jenny Wystawnoha in school to reserve your place. Attendance is strictly invitation only.
