In the Divisional Finals of the Senior Youth Speaks Finals the team of Lydia Nightingale, Bethany Moat and Jessica Timperley were runners up. Lydia was voted best Chairperson of the day. They now go on to the North West finals on Sunday.

Beech House School entertained Brownhill for a Key Stage 3 Basketball match recently. Brownhill looked a much improved side but Beech House proved to be too strong. Kingsley Benson and Ryan Matthews proving the difference between the two teams. Beech House KS3 34 Brownhill KS3 4

Beech House travelled to Kingsway Park to take part in the Rochdale Basketball Championships last week. The boys equipped themselves well against Kingsway Park who played extremely well themselves. The boys can be proud of how they played. In the second game Beech House bossed throughout, the boys got around the key quickly and scored some excellent baskets. The player of the match was Daniel Charlson for his outstanding work defensively. Beech House 11 Kingsway Park 39 and Beech House 18 Holy Family 06.

The under 11 soccer team played at home against Clarendon Cottage. A close first half saw few chances and the first half end goalless. As the teams tired the chances increased. Clarendon Cottage raced into a three goal lead. An excellent hat trick by Joshua Ogunbanjo brought the sides level. Two late goals, however, saw Clarendon Cottage run out winners with the score 3:5.

Parents of Year 5 and Year 8 are reminded that it is Parents Evening on 16 March.
