Year 9 pupils are currently in the process of selecting their options. All learners should have received a copy of their Options Booklet and selection forms. This week saw several options events for both pupils and parents and linked academic reviews should take place in the next week. Friday the 11 March is the final deadline for options decisions. All forms should be returned to Pupil Reception.

Thanks to Oldham College who led a one day Dance Workshop with our pupils this week. The second year pupils worked with some of our year learners and produced a stunning piece of choreography. Well done to all pupils involved in the process.

Mr DeCourcey will be leading a Drama club with Greenbank Year 2 and 3 learners over the next few weeks. The club will feature a range of improvisation activities and games, taking place at Greenbank School. We look forward to some great work ahead.

Year 10 BTEC Drama students have now begun their first major coursework pieces based on cyberbullying and are free to use classrooms for rehearsal after school. Please see Ms Gott or Mr DeCourcey for more details.

Many thanks to pupils and parents who attended our 'Breakfast Read' on Thursdaythis week. Pupils from year 7 were in school from 7am to participate in a range of reading activities and games. They received a great breakfast before school comenced. Many thanks to all who took part and thanks to Ms Gott, Mr De Courcey and Ms Murtagh, our librarian for organising the event.

Thanks to all pupils who took part in the 'Romeo and Juliet' Theatre Competition. The closing date was this Friday and the winners will be selected and notified in the next week. We have been bowled over by the quality and range of the entries and we know that the judging process will be difficult.
