Woman cut free from car following collision

A woman was cut free from a car last night (Sunday 6 February 2011) following a collision on Whitworth Road.
Two fire crews from Rochdale fire station were called to Whitworth Road just after 11.30pm.
On arrival they were faced with a road traffic collision involving two cars.
One female was trapped and rescued by the fire service using cutting gear.
