Congratulations to all the students who represented the school at the indoor county rowing championships yesterday at Robins Park Stadium in Wigan. As ever our students were excellent ambassadors for the school and their performances were tremendous. Their performance at Kingsway School secured our selection to the County finals at Robin Park in which 26 schools took part. Pupils were chosen due to the fantastic effort and attitude they have shown during their PE sessions, lunch times and after school club sessions. Our pupils and staff really enjoyed the event – everyone returned home exhausted from rowing, cheering or assisting during the hectic team relay events. The pupils effort and performance was a joy to watch. Their hard work was rewarded with some fantastic results and a great clutch of medals.
