Poverty & Homelessness Action Week - Who Counts?

Please use this prayer calendar to help focus on everyone in poverty and need.

• Day 1: pray for church night sellers and people who are sleeping rough.
• Day 2: pray for young people facing deportation.
• Day 3: pray for people living in estates on the edge.
• Day 4: pray for people who can't afford a home.
• Day 5: pray for people trapped in the cycle of debt.
• Day 6: pray for the people who are sofa-surfing.
• Day 7: pray for the people seeking sanctuary.
• Day 8: pray for the people denied a living wage.

Please welcome the children on the Parish Sacramental Programme and their parents who will join us at the 10am Mass on Sunday 6 February.

Sunday 26 June 10am: Alice Ingham School children.
Sunday 3 July 10am: Class 4 St Patrick's School - Miss Bailey's class

Our first Parish Social Event for 2011 will be an Irish Night with Francis & Sean (our St Patrick's Day Celebration) on Saturday 19 March starting at 8pm in the Pennine Suite and school hall. Tickets: £5 each.
