On Thursday 10 February, a Theatre group called ‘Ten-Ten’ will be doing performance and workshops in St John’s church during the day. The first session from 9 till 10 is for parents, Grandparents, Carers and any parishioners who would like to attend.
The classes will be going across to church for performances and workshops during the course of the day.
The performances are entitled ‘Up in the clouds’, ‘The Gift’ and ‘Healthy Heart’.
Parents will be receiving a letter shortly with an invitation to come to the parents’ session.

Safety Around School During Building Work
As construction and demolition work progresses at the school please ensure to keep to the designated paths through the school premises at all times. Apologies for any disruption caused as we progress through on our journey towards a superb new school building planned to be open in October 2011.

The date for the Nursery and Reception class to move into their new premises is week commencing Monday 14 March. It is at that point that the current Foundation stage building will be demolished to make way for the new extension.

Admission Number 2011
Our capacity is increasing as well from an intake of 30 per year to an intake of 45 pupils per year. This will commence with our September intake 2011 meaning that we have capacity to take 45 children into Reception class from our current Nursery class as well as from other nursery settings.

Parking and Traffic Issues
Parents and carers, please be aware of the parking restrictions in the area around school.
Children’s safety is of course paramount so please make use of the school crossing patrol where appropriate and make sure children are well supervised at all times.
Due to the on-going metro-link work, there are road closures in the immediate area of school. There is also a temporary one way system in the vicinity so please take care and have patience at all times!

Family Holidays
Thank you for only taking family holidays during school holiday time. No family holidays will be authorised during term time. If your child is off school at any time due to illness then please contact the school office first thing to let us know.
