Next week the Year 5 and 6 class will be filming their commercial for promoting safer routes to school.  Chris Taylor has been busy with both classes introducing them to alternative ways of getting important messages across.

The visits to the CLC (Falinge Park High School) have started once more and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the intensive ICT sessions so far.  Year 1 and Reception are required now to walk to Falinge as funding for transport has been withdrawn; however, they are rising to the challenge and have managed very well so far.  The day is extra special because the children are treated to a picnic lunch and stay at the CLC for the whole day.  Year 2 will be spending all day at the CLC next Monday.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday.

The cloakroom award was given again to Year 2 who are doing a fantastic job in keeping the cloakroom area trip and hazard free.

Best attendance was Year 2 with 99.3% and overall school attendance is improving steadily.  Well done.
