Next week the Year 5 and 6 class will be filming their commercial for promoting safer routes to school. Chris Taylor has been busy with both classes introducing them to alternative ways of getting important messages across.

The cloakroom award was given again to Year 2 who are doing a fantastic job in keeping the cloakroom area trip and hazard free.
Best attendance was Year 2 with 99.3% and overall school attendance is improving steadily. Well done. Tickets are on sale now for the Valentines Disco on 14 (of course!) February. This is a children only event and will run after school from 4.30pm until 6.00pm. The usual arrangements apply, children at the After School Club may bring their clothes to change into and the ticket includes a snack and a drink. There will be games, activities, dancing, crafts and a sweet stall. Music Tuition: The deadline for music payments is 7 February. As stated previously, the bills will be adjusted next half term for lessons cancelled when the music teachers are off. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and donations in memory of Mrs Powsey’s husband. We have sent a cheque to Rochdale Springhill Hospice for £150. Mrs Powsey is making a welcome return next week.
