Chip pan fire in Hamer

Two fire engines from Rochdale Fire Station attended Morley Street, Hamer, at 12.09pm today (Thursday 3 February 2011) following reports of a fire.
The fire involved a chip pan on a cooker but was out when the crews arrived.
One male was suffering from the affects of smoke and was given oxygen therapy by a fire service trauma technician.
