Beech House School

Date published: 26 January 2011

Jessica Timperley in Year 10 has recently been raising money to fund her Girl Guides trip to Morocco, due to take place in the summer. After her success in raising funds at our school’s Winter Fayre in December, she has recently been raising funds again at school by organising a tuck shop, along with other pupils in Year 10 (and her mum!) who have volunteered to help.
Her home-baked cakes went down very well recently and Jess managed to sell most of her wares.
Jess would welcome any ideas and fund-raising suggestions from staff as well as pupils, in order to further boost her funds for her forthcoming trip, representing the NW Guides.

Beech House entertained Prenton Prep in an Under 9 football match. Beech House started brightly with Yusuf Siddique and Joe Noon using the wings well. Beech House went in front with Yusuf Siddique scoring a lovely right footed shot. As the game progressed Beech House gained a foot hold and the goal of the game was scored by Joe Noon with an outstanding left footed strike. Callum Salford scored an excellent hat trick and Jimmy Dalziel chipped in with and cheeky tap in.
Overall is was an excellent performance from the Beech House boys. Mr Hargreaves gave Man of the Match award to Joe Noon for an excellent performance. The final score was Beech House 7 : Prenton Prep 1.
