House fire in Wardle

Fire crews tackled a blaze at a house in Wardle this afternoon (Thursday 20 January 2011).
Fire-engines from Rochdale, Littleborough and Heywood were called out to Spinners Green, Wardle, at around 01.07pm.
On arrival they found a fire on the first floor of a semi-detached house.
One man suffered from shock.
Two hose reels and four breathing apparatus’ were used at the scene.
