Book Club Orders
We would like to say a big thank you to all parents who have purchased books which will enable school to buy some new books.
Breakfast Club
Next week is Farmhouse Breakfast Week in Breakfast Club and is open to all school. Your child will have received a letter with details of the menu, etc.
Christingle donations
Barry Wild from St. Martin’s Church would like to say a big thank you to everyone for the magnificent total of £235.00 collected by the school via the Christingle money box candles. All the money goes to the Children’s Society which supports homeless children and those who need to be safe.
Friends/PTA meeting
Our next PTA meeting is on Monday 31 January at 6.30pm in the staffroom. Everyone is welcome – please come along and support your school through the PTA.
Castleton Children’s Centre [0-5years old]
The ‘Stay and Play Sessions’ are here at St. Edward’s School every Wednesday morning 9.15-10.15am – there is no charge for these sessions.
Text Messaging Service
We are continuing to use our text messaging service. In some cases we will be sending text messages to parents rather than sending letters so it is extremely important that you ensure you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.

Please send dinner money in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are now £1.75 per day - £8.75 per week and should be paid on a Monday morning.
School Lunches
There is a copy of the menus on our school portal. Next week we will be on Week 3.
Music Lessons
Music fees for this half term are now due - £16.50 (£2.75 per week). Please pay any outstanding music fees in order for lessons to continue.
