Just before Christmas, 24 of our 6th Formers and staff went on a residential to London for 3 days. It was cold but they enjoyed a sight seeing bus tour to the capital. Especially seeing the Christmas lights in Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street. Some students visited the Victoria and Albert Museum whilst others visited the Science Museum. They shopped in Covent Garden, enjoyed some lovely meals and drank lots of hot chocolate, to keep them warm from the freezing cold weather. The highlight of the 3 days was going and watching the musical, Mamma Mia at the Prince of Wales theatre. A fabulous time was had by all.
6th form Student of the Week is Liam F. Liam has been using his walking frame and doing some fantastic walking. Most Improved Student is Raheel he has been joining in with group discussions and making really good progress.
All students had their photos taken this week, proofs and details will be sent home in the next few weeks.
