Making It Better magazine hits the streets
Date published: 06 February 2008
A magazine describing how Greater Manchester health services for children, young people, babies and families will be transformed over the next five years has hit the streets. Copes are available in libraries, GP surgeries, hospital waiting areas and family centres across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
The 12-page Making it Better magazine featuring Julie Neville, wife of footballer Phil on the front cover, has been produced for patients and the public to let them know more about how and why services will be changed.
Commenting on the magazine, Leila Williams said: “We hope the magazine will help the public understand what the changes will involve and why they are being made. We are at the start of a journey to change a whole host of services and we want to keep people informed and involved in what’s happening.”
