High flyers at Holy Family

Year 11 students at Holy Family RC and CE College in Heywood joined together for one of their final school memories today (Tuesday 24 August 2010) – to collect their GCSE results.
Everyone at the school is delighted with the student’s success which was apparent from the laughter, smiles and sense of joy in the room as groups as friends showed of their results.
Deputy Head teacher Mr Coyle said: “We have had some fantastic results which are due to all hard work of the staff and the pupils.”
Jagoda Sulikowska was delighted to get the results she needed to embark on her next educational journey. The teen will start at Holy Cross College to study Spanish, German and English. Her ambition is to travel the world and work as a translator.
Krystian Griffiths is also going to Holy Cross he said: “I don’t have a clue what I want to do but am going to enjoy myself on the way.”
Kim Jackson gained two A* grades and eight A grades. She will join Holy Cross College in September to study theatre, business, law and English language.
Nicola Weir said: “I am very very happy with my results.”
