The fire-fighters with Redwood Special School Sixth Form students
Rochdale fire-fighters paid a visit to Redwood Special School Sixth Form Class today (Tuesday 8 June 2010).
The crew discussed the role of a fire-fighter and what to do in an emergency.
One of the students was chosen to try out the fire-fighters protective clothing and then a surprise guest, ‘Welephant’ made a guest appearance.
Tutor Adele Navesy-Hall, said: “All the students had a great time and now have a greater understanding of the dangers of fire.”
