Date published: 02 April 2010
Dawn Sullivan, a student at Hopwood Hall College, has been accepted to study for a Degree in Computer Science at Oxford Brookes University.
Dawn first enrolled on an art course at Hopwood and then progressed on to games development. Her success she believes is due to her great understanding of the programme 3dsmax, skills she was taught on the course by her tutor Mike Simpson, who she says has, "supported me in all aspects of life" both personally and professionally.
A spokeswoman for Hopwood Hall College said: "Dawn has always enjoyed playing computer games but has now found her true skills is creating them."
Although Dawn is looking forward to Oxford Brookes, her aim is to go further and work in Japan in the Anime Industry.
