This week was Community Cohesion week where children in all subject areas were taking part in activities connected to ‘Who Do We Think We Are.’ The great work on cultural diversity undertaken all week has again been underpinned by the many fundraising activities for our Lenten charities. A wonderful week of Catholic Community at its best!

The Musicals Group from our Expressive Arts faculty gave an incredible performance of a medley of songs from Les Miserable during the Year 7 assembly, in preparation for their performance in the Rochdale Music Festival.

A group of Year 7 boys were presented with their medals and the trophy for winning the Greater Manchester Football Catholic Cup – many congratulations to all involved. Next Thursday the boys will be playing in a national final to be held at Rochdale Cricket Club and many Year 7 students and staff will be travelling to the venue to support the boys.

Homework club is open every day at 1.30 in L3 with Mrs Whitmore and Mrs Rushton

The facilities in our Partnership Learning Centre are available for parents and for any Parish Groups who wish to produce resources for church or develop their own learning. Please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).
