Gym win for Rachel

Rachel Yates, a team leader who works for the ‘Making Space’ mental health charity based at Hope Court in Rochdale, won a 3 month gym membership and swimming pass for the Middleton Arena in a prize draw she entered at the recent Equalities Listening Event.

Over 140 people attended the event to air their views about difficulties they face in accessing council services to a panel of senior council officers and decision makers.

Ms Yates said she was surprised but delighted to win: “I’ve got no excuse not to start my healthy regime now!

"I’m really looking forward to trying out the facilities at the Middleton Arena, which looks fantastic.”
