Drake Street, Rochdale – Milkstone Road to Maclure Road
Road works have commenced and temporary one way working will be in operation from
11 March 2010 for approximately 5 weeks.
The one way working is from Milkstone Road to Maclure Road in that direction to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.

Kingsway, Rochdale – Close to Morrison’s entrance
Temporary 3 way signals to facilitate excavation work adjacent the railway line.

Grimshaw Lane, Middleton – junction with Whitely Drive
Temporary 3 way signals to facilitate sewer repairs

Edenfield Road, Norden – Shawfield Lane junction to 774 Edenfield Road
Temporary 2 way signals to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.

Smithy Bridge Road, Littleborough – Level crossing
Temporary road closure to facilitate rail works, overnight 10pm until 6am

Huddersfield Road, Newhey - 400m east of the junction with Ogden Lane
Temporary 2 way signals to facilitate reconstruction of a retaining wall

Huddersfield Road, Newhey - Ogden Lane to the Borough Boundary
Temporary speed limit of 30mph to facilitate safe working for reconstruction of a retaining wall

Halifax Road, Littleborough – Blackstone Edge Old Road to The Moorcock PH
Temporary 2 way signals to facilitate gas main work
Until 31 May 2010

Tesco Development, Middleton
Works may be progressing anywhere within the area bounded by Manchester New Road, Assheton Way, Oldham Road and will include the three roundabouts.
There will also be works on Wood Street and Market Place.
Surfacing work will be carried out at the Townley Street/Oldham Road junction at a later date.

The scheme is expected to take approximately ten months to complete.

Assheton Way – full length
One way working from Oldham Road roundabout to Long Street roundabout in that direction to facilitate a new road layout, 7pm until 7am.

Manchester New Road and Park Road
Manchester New Road – temporary closure of southbound carriageway from its junction with Park Road to Manchester New Road/Oldham Road roundabout to facilitate communication cable work.
Park Road – temporary one way working from its junction with Manchester New Road to Barton Road in that direction to facilitate communication cable work.
