St Edwards C of E Primary School
Cookery Club
Mrs. Brook and Mrs. Frost are starting a Cookery Club after Easter on Wednesdays 3.20 – 4.30pm. It is open to all children, at no cost to children as school has been awarded a grant from ‘Lets Get Cooking’ which is funded by the National Lottery – all children need to bring is an apron and a plastic container.
If your child is interested, please fill in the slip overleaf and return it to school as soon as possible. Places are limited so they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If any parents are interested in joining in the sessions with their children, please let us know.
3 children will be chosen to go on the Start-Up Day for ‘Lets Get Cooking’ at the Town Hall on 30 March.
PTA Meeting
The next PTA meeting is on Monday 15 March at 6.30pm. Please come along and support your school. Everyone welcome.
5F parents evening
Parents evening for Mr. Farrall’s class only is next Tuesday 16 March.
Swimming
Swimming Team Training for Years 5 and 6 is on Friday mornings at 8.30am.
Year 4 swimming is on a Friday afternoon – please ensure children bring their swimwear to school.
Phone Recycling
Please keep bringing in your phones for recycling.
Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are £13.50 as there will be no lesson the last week of term. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.
Dinner Arrangements
Following discussions with Mrs. Coxell, Mrs. Brook and some of the children, we are changing the lunch menus slightly for the Spring Term. Suggestions about what the children liked and disliked were discussed and have been taken onboard for the new menus. Your child will receive a copy of the new menu sheets in the next couple of weeks. Please fill in the options and return to school as soon as possible.
Dinner Money
Please send dinner money in on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are £1.70 per day - £8.50 per week. Thank you.
Next week is Week 1.
