Two appear in court over glass attack on headteacher

Two men have appeared in court after an unprovoked assault in a restaurant on Milkstone Road left a primary school headteacher requiring reconstructive surgery.

Jermaine Carl Bullen, 26, of Albion Road, Freehold, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent at Bolton Crown Court. Ian Kelly-Yuill, 24, of Bradley Smithy Close, Syke, did not enter a plea. Bullen was granted bail, Kelly-Yuill was remanded into custody.

They will both appear again at Bolton Crown Court on 2 March.
