Wardleworth charity funday

A family fun day at Wardleworth Community Centre during the half term break has raised over £630 for the Haiti Appeal.
Organised by the Wardleworth Girls Group and Rochdale Council’s Community Development Team there was plenty to enjoy, from henna decoration, face painting and calligraphy to a bouncy slide, climbing wall and sumo wrestling!
Nadeem Hussain from the Community Development Team said: “It was lovely to see so many people taking part in the activities. The Girls’ Group has certainly done the community proud.”
The event was also supported by, Rochdale Youth Service, and Housing Market Renewal Great Places Housing Group.
