At the Governor’s meeting on 9 February, sponsors and governors were highly appreciative of the significant achievements under Eric’s inspirational leadership exercised with great commitment and energy.
Reverend Canon Nicholas J Feist, Chairman of Governors added: “Standards have risen substantially with the academy now in the top thirty schools nationally for value added and very near to national standards in GCSE. Eric’s also been central in the planning and development and of our superb new building and we now eagerly await the move.
“We fully support and appreciate Eric’s decision and are very pleased he’ll see us through to the end of August. We wish him the very best as he develops his career and we’re confident he’ll continue to have a positive impact on the lives of young people.”
