The power of love

Date published: 14 February 2010

Love and light was the theme at True Serenity Holistic Centre, Bury Road, Rochdale this Valentine’s weekend. On offer was: Palm Reading, Spirit Guide Portraiture, Tarot, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Angel Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Rieki, Theta DNA, along with meditation, talks and demonstrations.

Our reporter experienced the Tarot of Light, an hour long reading of cards by Stephanie Kelly, and had a Spirit Guide Portrait drawn, and listened to the interpretation of the drawing offered by George David Fryer.

Stephanie Kelly says that Tarot of Light is enlightening and helps the person receive insight, guidance and understanding about the energies present for us at this time and about things we are invited to create during the next twelve months. She adds: “A reading covers all the main areas of our life and brings it all together.

George David Fryer has been a psychic artist since 1996, when he says he had an experience with Godan, his spirit guide, and has been able to contact the spirit world on a continual basis since.

Mr Fryer explains: “I have been taught by many guides how to bring their love, wisdom and truth into the physical world to help and assist souls fulfil their life's quest.

“The guides are here to help us move to a higher level of experience and understanding of life so that we can connect more deeply to our true soul purpose.”

True Serenity’s Jo Potts, owner of the holistic centre and organiser of the weekend, said: “The purpose of the weekend was to promote love and light, because it’s Valentine’s weekend.

“Palm Reading, Clairvoyancy, Tarot, etc., are often associated with negative connotations and we wanted to show that at True Serenity the practioners are loving, caring people who want to help others progress in a positive direction with their lives.”
