Stoma Care Open Day

The Stoma Care Service provided by Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale PCT treat, support and advises patients across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
Users of stoma products along with their carers are invited to attend the Stoma Care Open Day and view products which will be exhibited by manufacturing companies.
Also present will be representatives from the Colostomy, Ileostomy and Urostomy associations.
Judith Charlton, Stoma Care Nurse will be available to give advice to patients, alongside health care. She believes: “The event will give users an opportunity to view up to date products and to obtain samples and discuss their needs with the manufacturing companies. It will also provide an opportunity for patients who have not accessed the stoma service before to discuss any problems or concerns with myself.”
The event at Richmond Hall, Lomax Street Rochdale on Wednesday 6 December, 10.00am – 3.00pm will have refreshments available.
