Man assaulted in Castleton

Detectives in Rochdale are investigating an assault after a man required hospital treatment to facial injuries.
The 51-year-old man had been drinking at the Woolworths Social Club in Castleton on Saturday 6 February.
It is believed he was attacked on Manchester Road, between 12.10am and 2am on Sunday 7 February.
The victim suffered heavy bruising on the left side of his face has little recollection of the attack.
Detective Constable Micheal Berger said: "This man's injuries are consistent with him being assaulted, though the exact circumstances of the attack are not clear.
"At the moment, no assault in Manchester Road in Castleton in the early hours of Sunday morning has been reported, but we are appealing to anyone who may know what happened to this man to come forward."
